India’s Free Lunch

Since 2001 all Indian primary schools have provided pupils with a free midday meal. Seven years on truancy rates have been slashed, and child health is soaring. Western governments are taking note.
“Compared to ours, today’s generation is better off,” explains a cook at one school we visited. Vijay Bhaskar agrees, he is the food administrator in Karnataka, and reveals, “the number of children out of school has reduced from 1 million to 70,000.” The scheme has also seen off the junk food industry, as Bhaskar comments, “any person who has seen children eating a hot meal knows that no cookie can substitute.”

Casablanca Kids

Every year, thousands of children travel to Casablanca from far-flung shantytowns. Many fall prey to sexual exploitation and cruelty or end up as child labourers. But one doctor is trying to help them.
“I don’t like injustice or inequality. I don’t like the fact that children are being hurt”, explains Dr Najat M’jid, founder of the charity ‘Bayti’. “It’s important for me to defend these children’s rights.” Approx 15,000 children sleep rough in Casablanca. Most are addicted to glue or drugs and Moroccans don’t thank Dr M’jid for drawing attention to their plight. “The dangers I face are countless. Once, I was threatened with a knife when I tried to help a young boy”, states colleague, Omar Saadoun. But despite the risks, they keep on working. Over the past decade, they’ve helped more than 20,000 children.

Please be honest. Thanks for trying to be supportive, but please don’t say anything like "whatever you feel comfortable in" or "don’t worry about what you look like" or "Rock it anyways!" Those are all very nice thoughts but I’d really like to know if I’m pushing it in a bikini. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should stick with my tankinis.
So please be honest.
Think in the mindset of a judging teenager.

Having the mindset of a judging 18-year-old, I can say, in total honesty, that your body is fine for a bikini. You are, however, slightly too *flat* for a bikini, if you get my drift, but that’ll fix itself in time. If you’re really all that concerned about it, go run a few miles through town every few days for a few weeks, and that’ll flatten your stomach right out. No worries!

Now go out to the pool or the beach, stretch out on a towel with your iPod, and have fun! Adolescence is too short to worry about your body.

Do I need permission to distribute/sell/advertise MY OWN pictures of animals in zoo exhibits?

I’ve taken some great shots from a zoo of some animals. I had thoughts to use them in some non-profit fliers and perhaps in the future sell the prints for personal gain.

Anyone know how this works with animals that you do not own?

Again, these are my pictures I took, of their animals.

How do I cover my butt….and/or….do I need to cover my butt?

If I need permission, who on earth at the zoo would be the one to talk to.

You need to check the terms of entry into the zoo.

Pictures taken for personal usage are 99.9999% of the time allowed.

Pictures for any sort of business/advertising etc will require a release from the zoo.

As to who to contact, if it is a large zoo then they will have a press office, smaller ones just get hold of the general manager initially.

Vanessa Hudgens In A Bikini – How Does She Look?

Hey guys-I’m Joslyn Davis with your ClevverTV young Hollywood hook-up. Vanessa Hudgens is one of the brightest young stars in this town and now she’s landed the cover of SELF magazine.

So how does Vanessa Hudgens maintain her rockin body with one of the craziest work schedules around? Well according the magazine, which is on shelves right now, her secret to flat abs is Pilates. And about challenging herself during her gym sessions, Vanessa Hudgens says that she likes sitting in the front row of the cycling class. She says she feels like everyone behind her is looking forward so it really pushes her to do her best. V says she just looks at herself in the mirror and gets this really ferocious, angry look on her face like she’s about to kill someone-and those her her exact words! Crazy, but obviously it’s working.

The pictures in SELF are amazing and Vanessa Hudgens bikini body is ready for summer. There are lots of other fun tid-bits of info in the article, including the fact that she carries a tazer gun in her purse.
